He has extensive academic and professional qualifications which include Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. He obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration (Human Resource Management) Degree from the University of Colombo. He completed his Postgraduate Diploma in Corporate Law and
Diploma in Forensic Medicine & Science from the University of Colombo.
His areas of expertise include Corporate & Commercial Law, Customs Law & Intellectual Property.
